Patient reported outcome measures (PROMs) now play a significant role in randomized
control trials (RCTs) as well as becoming increasingly central to health technology assessment (HTA)
in the development of a patient relevant endpoint strategy.
However, PROM data tells us next-to-nothing about individual
treatment benefit and insight into the intrinsic lived experience of an individual patient.
I provide expert guidance to organizations in health research, including academia,
life science researchers, and the medical industry.
My focus is on facilitating a deeper understanding of patient experiences,
moving beyond PROM numerical data to incorporate narrative and mixed methods.
This approach aims to enhance patient-centred care and research.
This website has been developed alongside the sister website for Health Outcomes Insights
with a specific focus to meet Keith's aspiration to support the healthcare researcher and clinician
to gain a deeper insight through the patient's story and narrative
into the treatment benefits of the individual patient by providing
consultancy, training and access to a developing library of educational resources in this area.
